'Avatar 2' Will Finally Hit the Cinema After Seven Years of Waiting

James Cameron announced that there will be an upcoming sequel "Avatar 2" but the movie was delayed for seven years. It was said that the reason for the delay is because of the process in writing the script.

Digital Spy reported that this time "Avatar 2"will be set to hit the cinema on Dec. 21, 2018. According to the latest report, the people behind the movie decided to produce four new sequel of "Avatar" so it will be a total of five series. TV miniseries will also be added and they are starting to shoot some parts of it.

The second sequel of "Avatar 2" will focus on Jake and Neytiri with their children. The story will evolve on their life in Pandora and their battle with humans according to Independent. The saving of their home from part one will continue in the second sequel. More adventures will arrive and more unique animals and plants will be shown.

The original cast of "Avatar 2"will retain for their contracts still exist. Zoe Saldana will still play the role of the warrior princess Neytiri. Sam Worthington also returns as Jake Sully. He is an injured soldier who enjoyed the life of being an Avatar because he feels free again as he can finally walk in his Avatar body.

Sigourney Weaver also returns but with different role because she died in the first part of the movie. She will be given another character this time. Stephen Lang who is a villain in the first movie was also given a chance to come back in the sequel and there was no final announcement about his role. There are plenty of weird twists that will be added in "Avatar 2"and they said that it is a gift to all the Avatar fans because of its delay.
