Apple BREAKING News: Apple To Release An iPhone With A Curved Screen Next Year! [DETAILS HERE]

Samsung is indeed one of the toughest competition of Apple. With this said, Apple is reported to follow the steps of Samsung by coming out up with an iPhone with a curved screen. This is a version of Samsung's Edge series which has been a big hit since 2015 when it introduced the said devices. Apple's version is considered to be better, but has to be seen upon release, if it ever will.

According to CNET, next year could be the release of the iPhone with a curved screen. This is even rumored to be present on iPhone 8 as one of the features as part of its 10^th anniversary offering. The reason for this being talked about is that Apple's Asia suppliers reported that Apple has asked for higher numbers of thin, OLED displays.

Apple is considering this model among 10 other prototypes. There are other choices so the iPhone with a curved screen may or may not happen sooner as expected.

It either of two things. One is for Apple to push and choose the iPhone with a curved screen prototype to directly rub elbows and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the successful Edge series its arch nemesis Samsung released. Apple may pull all stops to make its iPhone with a curved screen version definitely better in terms of features and specs.

Another is, Apple may, not even remotely consider the iPhone with a curved screen. Continuing production of such iPhone versions will definitely and inevitably label them as copycats. Apple may not be accepting of this.

In recent market studies, iPhone sales have significantly decreased over the years. iPhone 7 for one did not do so well as it was not what many expected it to be. Many say it is not even worth it to waste money on iPhone 7 as it is almost the same as 6S, only with lesser ports.

The OLED on an iPhone with a curved screen may be its answer to the decreased sales. It may help Apple boost up its iPhone sales once again, bring back the hype as the previous years.

As added by The Verge, alongside the iPhone with a curved screen, there are also have different iPhones to be released in 2017. There will be a 5.5inch model differentiated by its displays and another one with 4.7 inch display. Users may also see dual cameras in the larger models.
