"The Fast and the Furious" 7 would not have been made possible without the participation of the brothers of the late Paul Walker. With the early and unexpected demise of Vin Diesel's best friend, the seventh installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise once initially left hanging. However, the movie's future saw hope in the form of Cody and Caleb Walker who both served as doubles of their departed brother.
Months following the success of the "Fast and Furious 7" film, the Walker family has yet another reason to celebrate. In a report by E Online, the magazine disclosed that Cody Walker finally tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Felicia Knox. The wedding, which was held on Saturday, took place in Oregon. Prior to the wedding both Cody and Felicia shared via social media that they just recently celebrated the seventh year of their romantic relationship. The couple's anniversary picture, which immediately went viral on Instagram, showed the two sharing a romantic dinner together.
While no official wedding pictures had been released by the couple, Instagram posts of their close friends and family members in attendance during the special event showed the couple glowing in love while their loved ones cheered their marital union. Christine Mather, one of the bridesmaids during the wedding, posted a collage photo of the ceremony in her Instagram account. She wrote, "To my beautifully gorgeous lifelong friend: I'm so excited for you and Cody in this next chapter of your lives and that I got to be there to see it." She went on to say, "You deserve nothing but the best and I hope today was all you dreamed of! Love you both bunches!!" Mather then added #walkerdowntheaisle as a hashtag to her post.
In the photos shared by Mather, the bride is seen wearing a white sleeveless gown which dipped low enough to show some cleavage. She donned a flower crown with her hair down and pinned to her right side. Her bouquet had pink, purple and white flowers. Meanwhile, the groom sported a gray vest over a white long-sleeved polo. The slacks he wore matched the color of his vest. Cody then rolled the polo up to his elbows to complete the look. Overall, the wedding appeared to have featured a rustic theme. However, this remains to be confirmed once the official photos are out.
"You know, Felicia and I have been together for seven years now - and so that was her brother too and Felicia was his sister," shared Cody, referring to the relationship of his now wife with his late brother, according to Mirror UK. The actor further shared that the big day, albeit exciting, was "really tough" on their family as everyone present missed the presence of his "Fast and Furious" star sibling.
