"Gotham" Season 3 spoilers hint on the return of Jerome. His return was teased in the promo for the upcoming episode of the Fox series.

As seen in the "Gotham" Season 3 fall finale, another character returned to the series - Selina's mom - which is bound to have some consequences for the rest of the characters. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Camren Bicondova shared that the return of Selina's mom would bring out her character's vulnerabilities.

"Eventually, it will be a darkness that we haven't seen before," she explained.

Not only would Selina become a different person in "Gotham" Season 3, but her mom's return would also affect her relationship with Bruce. According to Bicondova, just when fans thought these two are getting closer, they will grow further apart from each other.

There are also rumors that Barbara Kean will become Harley Quinn in "Gotham" Season 3. Speaking with Cinema Blend, Erin Richards teased that there have been talks to transform her character into the "Suicide Squad" role.

Richards said, however, that in order for this transformation to happen in "Gotham" Season 3, Barbara will need to go through "something major." She explained that Barbara and Harley Quinn are different in certain ways, especially when it comes to their reason for destroying things.

"Gotham" Season 3 returns in January 2017 on Fox.
