While the actors' participation in the show remains unclear, an earlier interview with the actor seemingly reveals his plans on his career. Is he going to do a porn movie?

Shailene Woodley and Theo James' chemistry was not enough to entice fans to watch the "Divergent" movie franchise. As Cinema Blend reports, the third installment, "Divergent: Allegiant," failed to dominate the theaters and received negative reviews from critics.

This eventually led to Lionsgate's decision to cancel the final installment, "Ascendant" and decided to turn it into a TV series instead. While this did not entirely surprise many fans and viewers, the publication notes that the participation of Woodley and James remains unclear.

James and Woodley starred as Tobias 'Four' Eaton and Beatrice 'Tris' Prior in the first three "Divergent" films. However, both actors remain mum about their involvement in the final installment, which will be aired on TV.

The 31-year-old actor, however, previously shared his plans on his career during an interview with InStyle magazine via The Theologians. According to James, if he did not become an actor, he may have been a musician or do a porno.

"I'd definitely do porn as well - but just classy porn, with long story lines," he said.

James admitted that his role in "The Divergent Series" helped open a lot of doors for him because it marked his name in the industry. However, he shared that his role in it is just the first step because he still has a long way to go before he reaches his goal.
