'Captain America: Civil War' Cast & Spoiler: Ant-Man Role; Possible Bromance with Cap? [Rumor]

Thanks to the footage shown during D23 Expo, fans who were excited about Marvel's upcoming flick "Captain America: Civil War" had finally gotten a glimpse of what to expect in the battle between the Avengers. The clip shown at the event featured several great moments in the anticipated film.

The encounter of the two superheroes turned to be hilarious as Lang, continuously mistakes his words. There was a connection, "a man crush" as how Wired puts it.

"Captain America, it's an honor," Lang nervously said while the two shook hands. "I'm shaking your hand too long," Ant-Man responded. He then starts to speak on how many heroes Cap can reach out, yet it was him, whom Cap turned to and he was happy to receive the call.

"Thinks for thanking of me," he stumbles. "Thanks for thinking of me."

The report suggests that it was a charming encounter since Steve Rogers is often picked on by his fellow Avengers for being a goody-goody and the said scene was an actual reverence. Aside from the possible bromance between Rogers and Lang, many are wondering what Ant-Man's role in the movie will be.

According to Cinemablend, Ant-Man's role will be somehow tied to Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier who is Caps'sbestfriend. While the shrinking superhero is best known for breaking into places and stealing stuff, his purpose is more along the lines of extraction in the "Captain America: Civil War" movie.

The report suggests that Cap and Falcon were helpless while Bucky found himself in a place where superheroes were not supposed to be there after the passing of "the accords". The accords refer to the superhero legislation that divides the superheroes into two groups, one lead by Captain America, the other lead by Iron Man.

It also explains why Tony Stark cannot help Cap. To help the Winter Soldier out of the said area, Cap and Falcon need someone to operate under the radar; there is no better character than the insect size superhero to carry out the plan.

CinemaBlend claims that there is not enough information as to what Ant-Man's role in the plot of "Captain America: Civil War" will be. However, they draw their speculations from the clip shown at D23 Expo and from what they seen from Peyton Reed's movie.

We will soon find out more about Ant-Man's purpose in the upcoming superhero action movie. "Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
