Facebook App Update: Instant Games Now Available On FB Messenger!

Many Facebook users got addicted to the basketball game which can be played in its messenger app. Recently, Facebook has revamped the app adding new instant games built on HTML5 such as Space Invaders, Words With Friends Frenzy, and Pac-Man.

The American for-profit corporation Facebook aims to make its users spend more time on its Messenger app by allowing them to compete with one another via the Instant Games. How do you compete with other Facebook friends? It's very simple, you just have to beat their high score.

As users play these Instant Games, Facebook benefits by earning from developers as they serve as the promoter of their games. The new feature on Facebook was recently released in 30 different countries.

17 new and classic games were released together with the Instant Game launch. Some of these games were made by classic developers such as Konami, Bandai Namco, and Taito.

According to reports, the new feature on the Facebook Messenger app is available on updated versions of iOS and Android smartphones or tablets. A game controller can be found on the Messenger app next to photos and stickers icons. The games are also available on desktops.

What makes Instant Games interesting is the feature's accessibility. You can start the games quickly just by clicking some buttons on the game controller, choose the game and beat each other's scores.
