'Fast & Furious 8' Cast & Plot: Vin Diesel Reveals Title; Kurt Russel Returns as Mr. Nobody [Details]

The success of "Fast and Furious 7" has been non-stop. In the recently-concluded Teen Choice Awards, the street action film received another recognition.

According to International Business Times, Paul Walker won the Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure for his role in the said movie. The film also won the Choice Movie Category. The cast of "Furious 7", along with Vin Diesel, accepted the award.

"I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about someone very, very important to us," Vin said in his acceptance speech. "One of the best blessings in our lives is that we have the opportunity to call Pablo a brother. Paul Walker is here with us in spirit."

According to ComicBook, after a special recognition to Meadow, the actor ended his speech with "I love all of you. I love all of you, and until 'Fast 8.'" This statement, caused the audience to believe that the next installment of "Fast and Furious" will be named "Fast 8."

On the other hand, Diesel posted a photo with Kurt Russell on his Instagram. Because Russell played Mr. Nobody in "Furious 7", the photo had viewers speculating that Russell may reprise his role in the upcoming movie, "Fast and Furious 8."

Classicalite reports that Diesel's post with Russell was a confirmation that the Hollywood icon is in for "Fast 8."

In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the veteran actor shared his experience in filming "Furious 7." He said "I got an idea, a sense of what Vin maybe wants to do in the future that this character could be a good part of."

"We created somebody that I think is, you know, he's a mystery man, he's 'Mr. Nobody' we never know his name and you never know quite what world he's in and I think that's what's fun and exciting about it " the 64-year-old actor continued.

A report from IGN suggests that Russell's character in the seventh film was brief, but will be expanded in "Fast 8." When asked if he will be part of the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8" he responded with "That's going to be interesting."

"Because the character has been purposely treated in a certain way so that he can or can't. The 'can' will be an interesting stretch. It works, because I understand what it is and we came up with it. It's like, 'Oh, wow! That's cool!' If he doesn't, then he doesn't. If he gets killed, he gets killed. That will be for them to determine," Russel said.
