Marvel Cinematic Universe: New Updates On Release Dates, Future Projects Revealed; Phase 3 Of Other Flicks Also Announced

Many new movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be produced or is now under production and the latest list has been released. Some of the flicks to be out in the future are in their third phase while the others are future projects.

The first is the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." Cinema Blend reported that it will be out on May 5, 2017. The gang, Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot, and Rocket will still be seen in the movie's sequel. James Gunn will still be writing and directing the sequel. Other key characters set to be seen on "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" are Yondu and Nebula and new characters will also be featured.

The next Marvel Cinematic Universe flick that fans should not miss is "Spider-Man: Homecoming." The movie will be out this July 7, 2017. Marvel and Sony reached a deal months ago regarding Peter Parker after he became part of "Captain America: Civil War." Tom Holland will be taking on the role of Peter Parker but the plot is being kept under wraps. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be directed by Jon Watts and written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will also be out next year specifically on November 3, 2017. Both Thor and Hulk will be seen in the movie after they were not included on "The Avengers: Age of Ultron." Not many details are known about "Thor: Ragnarok."

For 2018, fans of Marvel Cinematic Universe are expected to watch "Black Panther," which will be out this February 16, 2018. The movie will star Chadwick Boseman. The next movie to watch out for in 2018 is "The Avengers: Infinity War." It will be slated for release this May 4, 2018. Other new characters will also be seen on "Ant-Man And The Wasp." The flick will be out on July 6, 2018.

As for 2019, "Captain Marvel" and the Untitled Avengers: Infinity War Sequel will be out on March 8, 2019 and May 3, 2019 respectively. Inverse also reported back in November that "X-Men" or "Dr. Doom" movies are not yet expected to be produced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon.
