‘Star Wars Battlefront 2‘ Will Have A Story Mode Campaign, Déjà Vu?

"Star Wars Battlefront 2" was confirmed to have a single player story mode campaign. Hopefully, the game will be released as a complete version, as all games should be.

According to GameRant, an interview by Martin Robinson of Eurogamer with Dice producer Paul Keslin, the story mode campaign is "locked in" to "Star Wars Battlefront 2."  Keslin also added, "Myself as a Star Wars fan, I want story, I want narrative, I want something I can play that immerses me in that world but gives me something to follow and chase, we don't want it where single player isn't that great but multiplayer has this great thing and isn't connected."

When Star Wars Battlefront was announced during E3 2013 it hyped everyone in the gaming industry. But the very first installment released without a single player campaign mode was criticized by a lot of Star Wars Fans.

"The depth and breadth is something that's proving to be more and more important, in a world where we want $60 up front and we expect people to stay with us over the course of a long time, the depth of what we offer is important, we have to go back and course correct that for another version if we were ever to build one," according to EA Boss Patrick Soderlund. Earlier, the EA Executive revealed that EA will be removing the campaign so that "Star Wars Battlefront" could be released at the same time as the new Star Wars movie Episode 7: The Force Awakens.

Although it seems a bit too early for fans to get hyped up with "Star Wars Battlefront 2" knowing the history of the franchise. EA and Dice have a lot on their hands if they want to restore the confidence of "Star Wars" Fans like Breaking Benjamin's frontman Benjamin Burnley who hated "Star Wars Battlefront," so much that he destroyed his copy and posted it through social media.
