‘Uncharted 4’ News & Updates: Co-op ‘Survival’ Mode Will Be Available Next Week, For Free

As the year is about to end, game developer Naughty Dog is not done yet. The Californian company of Naughty Dog announced that the co-op "Uncharted 4: Survival" mode will be available next week. The game brings in new cooperative and solo experience.

Naughty Dog made the announcement via an official blog post. A new competitive multiplayer content for "Uncharted 4" also joins the launch of the much-awaited co-op "Survival" Mode.

According to GameSpot, Naughty Dog will host a live stream event on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Beginning at around 11:00am PT, the company will debut new maps, weapons, and modes and further show off other features of the "Uncharted 4: Survival" mode, including the reveal of the new multiplayer DLC.

They even encourage "Uncharted 4" players to jump right in with their questions via chat so that game developers will get the chance to answer them. Much like previous "Uncharted 4" expansions, the "Uncharted 4: Survival" mode will also be free.

The new co-op mode of "Uncharted 4: Survival" will allow players to team up with up to 2 friends in battling "swarms of increasingly powerful enemies." Further, each stage of the "Uncharted 4: Survival" mode will take around 15 to 20 mins to finish.

Henry Avery is among the enemies for the co-op "Uncharted 4: Survival" mode. He will be featured in the "Boss Waves." Also, players can team up with AI, serving as a stand-in in case your friend isn't around to play, per report.

Meanwhile, fans of "Uncharted 4" are still clamoring for more details regarding the single-player DLC. However, game developer Naughty Dog has kept mum, noting that the news on the Solo expansion of "Uncharted 4" is still a long way off, per GameRant. But this didn't stop fans from speculating about the contents of the so-called single-player DLC, which might involve and star Nathan's brother, Sam Drake.

Well, the company is yet too busy to take care of another DLC expansion for "Uncharted 4," since they recently announced during the PlayStation Experience 2016 a standalone adventure "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" and the sequel to the post-apocalyptic zombie-killing game, "The Last of Us: Part 2."
