Britney Spears Biopic Updates: Latest Story Detail And Cast Finally Out!

Lifetime has been working on a Britney Spears biopic since August that was set to premiere this coming 2017 although no exact date has been announced by the network yet, they have just released some photos with Natasha Bassett playing Britney Spears.

According to ETOnline, Lifetime Network released the photos a day before Britney Spears' 35th birthday. The images showed actress Natasha Bassett reliving the events of Spears personal and professional life, noticeably including Britney's romance with Justin Timberlake and her wedding with Kevin Federline.

As part of the released photos, a photo of Natasha Bassett hugging Nathan Keyes [playing Justin Timberlake] was shown in remembrance of the Britney-Justin romance back in the day. As well as a wedding photo showing Natasha Bassett and co-actor Clayton Chitty who plays Kevin Federline on the biopic in all smiles as they recreate the ex-couple's wedding day.

However, not everyone was impressed about this and fans and people from the music industry shared their thoughts about it. As reported by Movieweb, Britney Spears made it very clear that she is not in any way involved in this project and she did not give the network her blessing at all.

On a separate interview, former NSYNC member Lance Bass reacted on the released photos saying that the cast they chose for the NSYNC boy band looked more like the Backstreet Boys back in the day. Lance Bass think that the producers of that Britney Spears biopic may have had their boy bands all mixed up because it does not look like any of them [NSYNC] one bit.

The former bandmate also thinks that both Spears and Timberlake is not happy about the upcoming biopic but is not at all bothered about how the actor Connor Paton will portray him and still wished him good luck. Lance Bass also admits that he loves Lifetime movies and would definitely watch the biopic once it comes out.
