'Pokemon Go' Latest News and Update: First Gen 2 Pokemon Revealed, More Pokemon During The Christmas Holiday!

The second generation of "Pokemon" will be available in "Pokemon Go". However, not all Pokemon in the series are added.

Players can get new the Pokemon by hatching an egg that they get in Pokestop according to Polygon. They cannot have this Gen 2 Pokemon by catching it. Niantic revealed the names of the new Pokemon. It will be Pichu and Togepi.

Meanwhile, the other one remains undisclosed as it is a Pokemon that originally came from Pokemon Gold or Silver. A special edition Pikachu will also be included where it wears a festive hat. Players can catch this special edition Pikachu in "Pokemon Go".

Pikachu will appear starting Dec. 12, 2016, until 11 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2016. It was revealed that numerous special edition Pikachu will appear on the last day. First Gen 2 Pokemon is coming from eggs because Niantic knows that players cannot get out a small release of the new Pokemon during winter.

Players are required to exert an extra effort in hatching eggs. It was said that it requires luck as the Pokemon inside the egg is random.

Players must be aware that they cannot use third party radars to search an egg that they want. Sharing to friends when they get an egg is not helpful as it is designated randomly. The sad news is that players are not only allowed to hatch egg simultaneously, instead, they should hatch one egg at a time according to Tech Crunch.

If they want to hatch more eggs, they should spend money for it. In order to hatch eggs, players must put the egg first inside the incubator. They are required to walk for a distance as instructed in the incubator.

However, each player is given one infinite- to use the incubator for free. For those who wanted to buy it, they can grab an infinite use incubator up to 8 more. Meanwhile, in celebration of Christmas, Pikachu will rock this holiday as it will wear a Santa hat.
