'The LEGO Batman Movie' LATEST News: A New Take On Batman Movie; May Make It Big In Cinemas [DETAILS HERE]

Everyone has his or her own favorite superhero. Either it's from the DC Comics or from the Marvel Comics, fans all over the world are raging about how their "idol" is better than the other superheroes. Combining the fandom of superheroes with a well-loved and well-known children's toy brand Lego. After successful movies from the past, Warner Brothers will be releasing its fourteenth Lego Movie entitled "The Lego Batman Movie."

 

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the Lego movies' irreverent spirit of fun made the franchise a worldwide phenomenon. Faithful to this characteristic, "The Lego Batman Movie" focuses on how Batman should drop the lone vigilante thing and team up with others in order to save Gotham City from The Joker's hostile takeover. On top of saving the city, Batman (aka Bruce Wayne) must also take responsibility of raising the boy he adopted, which later on will become his sidekick Robin, as added by IMDb.

Banking on the hype and popularity of the movie Suicide Squad and Batman Vs. Superman, "The Lego Batman Movie" shows references from these box-office movies that's why the storyline included characters such as Harley Quinn, who is voiced by actress Jenny Slate, and Two-Face, who is voiced by Billy Dee Williams.

Directed by Chris McKay and written by Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers, "The Lego Batman Movie" will be a sure hit among audience of all ages. Starring Will Arnett as the voice of Batman and Bruce Wayne, Ralph Fiennes as the voice of the loveable butler Alfred Pennyworth, Zach Galifianakis as the voice of The Joker, Michael Cera as the voice of Dick Grayson or Robin, the Bob Kane and Bill Finger creation will hit the theaters on February 9, 2017.

On top of the star-studded actors doing the voices of the main characters, will the special participation of Mariah Carey as Mayor McCaskill hit the nail on its head for "The Lego Batman Movie?"
