'Detour' LATEST News: Movie About Drunk Conversation; Can He Take Back What He Said The Night Before To A Stranger? [DETAILS HERE]

Most people would claim that memory from a conversation the night before while engaging in so much alcohol may come in hazy the following day. When one sobers up, memories from the previous night becomes unclear, to a point of not having any recollection of any form at all. This is one that happened to the lead character of the movie "Detour."

The movie "Detour" is about revenge, striking a deal and having everything while engaging in heavy drinking with a stranger at some seedy bar. When the dawn of the following day came, it marks the start of series of unfortunate events.

According to IMDb, the movie "Detour" revolves around the story of a law student, Harper who is harboring so much hate to his stepfather, Vince. He suspects that Vince is responsible for the accident of his mother which got her into a coma.

Because of this frustration and deep anger, the movie "Detour" then continued as Harper goes to this one seedy bar in L.A. to drink the night away. As he was drinking, he was approached by Johnny Ray. He then opened up to him his plans of getting back at Vince for what he did to his mother, allegedly.

 

Both struck a deal of $20,000. This gave Harper temporary vindication for he can finally have his revenge to his stepfather. The night went on as both Harper and Johnny Ray downed so much drinks which got the former drunk.

The next day, Johnny Ray comes back ready to fulfill the deal both have agreed upon the night before. Harper, being too drunk reasons out that he has no recollection and that he was just drunk when the deal was made. This excuse is definitely not acceptable to Johnny Ray. This is then the start of his ordeal.

As added by Movie Insider, the movie "Detour" will have its limited release on Jan. 20, 2017. It stars Tye Sheridan as Harper. He is also joined by Emory Cohen as Johnny Ray alongside other notable actors responsible for the suspense and adventure the movie promises.
