'God Of War' Confirmed To Be Playable From Start To Finish, Demo Update Not Yet Confirmed

Sony announced the PlayStation 4 exclusive game at the E3 gaming conference held earlier this year but since then, there hasn't been any news about the game but on Dec. 22, 2016, an update about "God of War" has been confirmed by one of its creators.

A tweet from Cory Barlog, creative director of Santa Monica studios surfaced where he replied to a fan who was about to give up on any news regarding "God of War". He tweeted that they just finished the first play through of the game and the company finished most of the shooting. He said that there are only few scenes left to shoot.

According to GameSpot, Barlog revealed that the game just recently reached a milestone and the game is now playable from beginning until the end. Although the game won't be shown at the PlayStation Experience, Barlog dropped hints that there will be a new footage that will be released and will show other scenes from the game.

When GameSpot interviewed Barlog, he spoke about the difficulty of making people take Kratos' character seriously. He also revealed that a canceled Star Wars TV show had influenced the game.

The events that will happen in the new "God of War" are set after the events of the third game. The game wouldn't feature an open world and multiplayer mode and Kratos won't be voiced by its original actor, T. C. Carson. The role of the voice actor was taken over by Christopher Judge.

It was speculated that the game might focus on Kratos' son, the boy who Kratos is with when he went on a mission in a Nordic Land. It is also said that his son might be the future Thor, the God of Thunder. There are still no announcements as to when the "God of War" will be released according to WWG.
