Rocksteady’s Latest Project Will Unleash The Man Of Steel? Details Here!

Rocksteady Studios, the developer of the epic "Arkham" series is said to be working on a new project dedicated to the Man of Steel. "Batman Arkham Knight" and "Batman Arkham VR" could be the final installment of the Batman Series.

According to Game transfers, a Reddit post by the Leakguin, states that Rocksteady started working on a Superman project but has run into a couple of issues involving his strength/power. The thread states that the Superman game was supposed to have been announced during the Video Game Awards but was delayed due to the same issues. The issue was that "Superman had to be depowered for part of the game and even at the maximum strength they had him be much weaker than he normally is (there are skins that make him unstoppable). The plot saw him facing off against magical foes, as well as familiar faces like Lex Luthor and Metallo that would utilize Kryptonite."

Another feature mentioned about the game was the collectible skins that Superman needs to collect which determines his move set and his weaknesses. The skins are said to have been composed of Cyborg Superman, ZOD, and Nuclear Man from Superman 4.

Rocksteady redefined the Batman video game franchise with the development of the Arkham series. The studio made Batman a major brand among within the video game industry. "Batman Arkham Asylum" was praised by critics and was even tagged as one of the best comic book superhero games ever made. "Batman Arkham Asylum" sold two million copies in a span of two weeks.

The past version of Superman as a video game never really made an impact among video game enthusiasts. The creation of a game dedicated to Superman by the studio who managed to revive and made the Batman video game version into what it is right now is going to be a promising one and is going to be something to watch out for in 2017.
