Newest Update Of 'Overwatch' Includes A New Map Oasis Which Features A Jump Pad And A Hazardous Traffic

The newest update of "Overwatch" has just been available featuring a control point map. The newest map is called Oasis and it also features a jump pad which allows players to jump in the air and explore the area.

According to Polygon, the new map is called Oasis and it is located in the Arabian Desert. The new map is a control map and it is already available for all "Overwatch" players after it has been in a public test realm on Windows PC for almost a month.

Blizzard shared a description of the map featuring three unique control points. It also features some jump pads and a hazardous traffic. The new map is part of the game's new update and it is officially available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

It was further described that researchers and academics are finding a city where they can execute a scientific progress without any restraints. The Ministries are composed of brilliant minds governing the city and its inhabitants and they have many secrets which deceived powerful organizations from all parts of the world. A preview of the Oasis map can now be seen on any social media sites.

According to Digitaltrends, the new map of "Overwatch" was announced during the event of Blizzard at BlizzCon last November 2016. Floating and flying vehicles can be found in different areas of the map, which can execute a wreaking damage when walking across their path.

Blizzard made a great image for the map Oasis by the inclusion of jump pads. It allows players to jump higher and it may also open new options or strategies when it comes to combat. Jumping higher gives more chances of winning for a player who focuses on how to use the jump pad.

However, some maps do not have this jump pad feature. Blizzard added a hacker named Sombra to "Overwatch" as a teaser after it was made available in the first six months. Blizzard has yet to share whether or not there will be new characters to be added. The studio is mute for now and apparently working on it.
