'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Premiere & Spoilers: Henry's First Crush To Be Revealed, Who is She?

The upcoming season of "Once Upon A Time" will be filled with thrill and action as Emma turns into a full Dark Swan, and Regina and her family strive to save her. Moreover, "Once Upon A Time" season 5 will also be graced with young love as Henry gets to meet his first crush. 

Jared S. Gilmore, the 15-year-old actor who plays Emma's son Henry, is growing up. And while it's still tough to picture out Gilmore as old enough to have his own love affair in the show, he will have it soon. After all, romance is a spice in every fairy tale and Gilmore will not be a child forever in the story.

Last Friday, Entertainment Weekly, published its Spoiler Room, and among the revelations was the new faces coming to "Once Upon A Time" season 5 which Edward Kitsis hinted will have a connection to Henry.

"We're going to meet Henry's very first crush," Kitsis said.

The report suggests that Camelot is a place of love and more likely Henry's first crush would hail from the said place, which will be featured in the next season. Executive-producer Adam Horowitz added that Henry's love interest is someone that the audience will be going to meet and they wanted it to be a surprise. "It's fun to give Henry something new to play and deal with, and to really explore Henry as a boy who's growing up and all the joy and pain of adolescence," Horowitz said.

Although Horowitz and Kitsis were careful not to disclose the name of the girl, fans were fast to speculate who Henry's first crush would be. Moviefone suggests that it will be Merida (Amy Manson) or Guinevere (Joana Metrass).

Since "crush" is the term that's used, it's possible that young Henry just adores the woman's beauty or strength. Maybe, he draws inspiration from her. Guinvere is married to King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) and is already in a love triangle with Lancelot (Sinqua Walls). Is there a chance that her charm captures young Henry's attention as well?

On the other hand, there were speculations that Henry will admire the Scottish redhead princess who will have her debut in "Once Upon A Time" season 5.  Merida is an adventurer by spirit, who is fierce enough to manage her own destiny. She rides her horse and is a skilled archer. Henry is a smart guy, which prompts many to believe that Merida's skills in addition to her looks will make little Henry adore her.

"Once Upon A Time" season 5 will premiere on Sept. 27, Sunday, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
