‘Dragon Ball Super’ English Dubbed Episode 2 Preview Shows Goku Is Preparing For Lord Beerus’ Immense Powers

Toonami gave a delightful start of the year blast to the fans of the hit anime "Dragon Ball Super" when it included the English dub of the anime in its late-night anime block on Adult Swim. Following the treat, the network has released the promo video for the upcoming episode 2. Check below spoilers with emphasis on the powers of Lord Beerus.

The preview opens with Goku's surprise visit to King Kai. The latter looked greatly appalled as he asked the former about the unexpected appearance on his planet. Goku then responded that he came by for a quick training.

It seems that Goku is alarmed as in the clip, Lord Beerus was unveiled to have awoken. The video detailed the immense power of the Destroyer as it was shown to have simply blocked off a fiery attack without getting hurt. It was not clear if it was Goku who released the fiery attack as the clip did not reveal who was attacking Lord Beerus.

According to Comicbook, the English dub of "Dragon Ball Super" will feature the episodes of the "God of Destruction Beerus" saga, which is the beginning of the anime. Fans will begin to see a new arc this coming February, where the anime will feature the "Universal Survival" saga.

Meanwhile, fans have noticed some changes in the English dub premiere episode with the Japanese original episodes. The color of Mr. Popo was altered from black to bright blue. The alteration was done in respect with the cultural differences, GoshTV has noted.

Furthermore, it was also noticeable that the English dub episode contained less nudities. The publication detailed that a scene where Bulma tries to distract Roshi by raising her skirt was already deleted, as well as the frontal nudities of Goku. It seems that American licensors were more strict as some bloody scenes were also censored in the English versions.

"Dragon Ball Super" English Dub airs every Saturday at 11.30 p.m. on Toonami. Check out the preview below for episode 2.
