Lenovo Phab Plus vs iPhone 6 Plus: Android Device An Apple Knock Off, Which Is Better? [Specs & Price Comparison]

Tech company Lenovo has unveiled a new phablet that looks familiar - because it looks like an Apple iPhone 6, only bigger.

The Tech Portal reports that the new phablet, the Lenovo Phab Plus, is a 6.8-inch that is targeted to market in China. The report states that Lenovo targets users who want use their tablets as phones, but currently have to carry two devices around. The chinese tech giant believes that the Phab Plus is great in both genres.

Tech Crunch reports what the huge phablet has to offer: two SIM slots; the Android 5.0 Lollipop as its OS; two cameras, 13-megapixel camera on the back, and 5-megapixel front camera with front flash; 32GB of internal storage for all your files; an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor; and 2GB RAM. NDTV Gadgets add that the Phab Plus has a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels, and it is powered by a 4500mAh battery.

Being fabulously huge, the Lenovo Phab Plus has an incorporated feature that shrinks the phone screen's display to the bottom right or bottom left corner of the phone, making it easier for users to use the phone with just one hand. NDTV said of the one-hand mode, "we couldn't trigger despite multiple attempts and a cry for help."

NDTV also add that if buyers are planning to make the Phab Plus their primary phone, the one-hand mode will be very handy.

Describing the phone as a knock-off or rip-off of the iPhone 6, Tech Portal said that almost everything -- from the rounded corners, to the camera placement, from the back panel design to the front screen layout, the phablet does indeed look like a copy of the iPhone, only bigger.

Even the colors seem copied: Apple's iPhone 6 was sold in colors of silver, gold, and space gray. The phablet? Titanium silver, champagne gold, and gunmetal grey.

For comparison, Apple's iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch retina display; is powered by the A8, a dual-core processor; 8-megapixel camera with various effects; touch ID, and Apple Pay features.

The Lenovo Phab Plus is also way bigger than the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, although it has a 6-inch display on its own. Both phones make it hard for the average user to hold it and use it well with just one hand.

Tech giant Lenovo's giant phone is scheduled to be available in the markets in the U.S. by the end of the month, and will be priced at $299, off contract.

In comparison, the iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 for the 16GB model. The unlocked, SIM-free option, however, sells at $749.

Hopefully, the Lenovo phablet will be available worldwide.
