Dave, Odette Annable Welcome Baby Daughter—Find Out Her Name! [Photo]

Dave and Odette Annable celebrated Labor Day last Sept. 7 quite literally, as the actress labored and gave birth to their first-born child together. The TV stars, who have been married for five years before finally having a baby, announced the arrival of their daughter in sweet photos posted on their social media accounts.

"Odette and I couldn't be happier to announce the arrival of the love of our lives. Welcome to the world Charlie Mae Annable," the caption on Dave's Instagram post reads. It showed a photo of Dave's fingers being held by the baby's tiny hands and the father added: "She was born September 7th, Labor Day. Team Annable did not get the memo that 'Labor Day' wasn't to be taken literally. Charlie is a holiday all on her own. Mom and baby are in great health, and dad hasn't stopped crying since. Shocker. Charlie is one lucky girl to have you as a mother @odetteannable. You are made from heaven. #proudhusband #proudpapa #lifehasawholenewmeaning."

On the other hand, Odette also posted a similar photo with the baby holding her fingers in her own Instagram account. She wrote: "I took Labor Day quite literally this year. Dave gave me this blanket on Mother's Day and baby Charlie and I slept with it our entire hospital stay. Charlie is a lucky lady to have you as a papa, we love you so much @dave_annable. Thank you all for the love that you've shown us through this journey." Congrats to Dave and Odette on their new bundle of joy!"

It's obvious the new parents couldn't be any happier and they don't hide the fact that they are very excited about being first-time parents. "I just have a lot of love to give that little girl and will try to do the best I can because I don't know what the hell I'm doing!" said Dave, according to US Weekly.

The former star of "Brothers and Sisters" already has plans for little Charlie, as she's going to grow up loving golf like her parents and grandparents. "I think we will bring our little girl out there and teach her," the actor said.

Meanwhile, before giving birth, Odette was showered with two parties by their friends. The couple also spent the last few weeks putting the finishing touches on the nursery and making more preparations.

"She sort of already is a mother even though we haven't given birth yet. The nesting and the home, I feel like it's important for us to be on the same page and get everything in the right place so you can be prepared as much as you can be," said Dave about his wife, according to Celebrity Baby Scoop.
