Video Shows John Legend Demonstrating What Fatherhood Is Like

John Legend takes parenting seriously and shows that even in the most awkward situations, he can still perform his daddy duties, such as burping baby Miles while daughter Luna is being a hindrance.

Daddy Duties

Chrissy Teigen shared a video that shows the musician taking care of his two kids. In the clip, Legend patiently waits for his one-month-old son to burp. He pats Miles' back as daughter Luna settles on his shoulders. The 2-year-old loses her balance and holds on to her father's face for support.

Despite his daughter's movements, Legend has his focus on his son. He continues to pat him on the back and waits for him to burp. All the while, Legend has a smile on his face.

"Ahh, good burp, good burp," Legend finally says in the video.

Meanwhile, Teigen can be heard in the background laughing. The model shared the video on her Instagram on Saturday, and it has since received over 1 million likes.

"Bahahahahaha," the Lip Sync Battle cohost captioned the clip.

Fans expressed their amusement at the situation. Meanwhile, other parents can relate to Legend. They shared their similar experience with their kids.

"Haha too funny same scenario in my household too. With Giana its been an aim to climb on my head literally!" one fan commented.

"Ah, the joys of parenting!!! Cute video," another fan wrote.

"Daddy duties hahaha," one user commented.

Teigen also shared another video on Instagram Story of Legend taking care of the kids. The clip seems to have been taken before the Grammy winner burped Miles. The clip shows Legend bottle-feeding the baby while daughter Luna remains seated on his shoulders.

"The eyes say 'help,'" Teigen wrote alongside the clip.

Fatherhood

Legend opened up about fatherhood in a previous interview where he talked about the struggles that come with having a new baby in the house. He talked about the sleepless nights and recalled the same experience when they had Luna.

The musician said that having Miles reminds him not to work too much at home because they have a lot to do. Legend admitted that having his son reminded him about how it was the first time around with Luna.

"It's all coming back to me, and Chrissy too. This is that period in his life and our lives where you get less sleep and work a little harder," Legend said.
