"Outlander" Season 2 recently released a new trailer for the upcoming season of the Starz time traveler series. The clip showed Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) attempt to change the course of history and stop the Battle of Culloden from happening.

"Roget the past, it's time to rewrite history," the subtitle reads, according to Scotland Now.

However, it looks like changing the past is a much harder thing to do, as Jamie and Claire will begin to realize that they are also struggling with their own personal issues.

Jamie will continue to struggle with his traumatic experience with Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) in Wentworth Prison while Claire will have to meet her first husband, Frank Randall while she is pregnant.

This awkward reunion between Claire and Frank is what concluded the trailer for "Outlander" Season 2.

"I'm back," says Claire.

"And I am so grateful," Frank tells her as the screen fades into the Starz logo.

In an earlier interview with TVLine, Caitriona Balfe admitted that Claire will be having a hard time meeting Frank.

"There is that reverse thing where every time she looks at Frank, she can't help but see Black Jack," Balfe said. "There's many layers of why that relationship is difficult when she goes back. She's definitely not the same woman that left."

"Outlander" Season 2 is based on Diana Gabaldon's second book titled, "Dragonfly in Amber." The show will also introduce new characters, including fan-favorite Brianna Randall (played by Sophie Skelton).

"Outlander" Season 2 will premiere on Apr. 9 on Starz.
