"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers from actor Wentworth Miller revealed that the Fox revival will not take place right after the events from Season 4. In an interview with Prison Break Revival on YouTube, the 43-year-old actor shared some of his conversations with series creator Paul Scheuring.

"It's not a pickup from where we left off, it's a five years later, where these characters go," he said.

Miller, however, stated that this conversation with Scheuring took place several months ago, so there may or may not have been any changes made. He also shared that he is excited to see how "Prison Break" revival will be incorporated with the events from the movie, which ultimately saw Miller's character, Michael Scofield, dead.

"I would like to believe we can honor the story that's been told and not do a dream sequence kind of thing because I think the audience would not appreciate that sort of thing," he said.

As most fans know, Michael Scofield has seemingly died in the "Prison Break" finale, which aired in 2009. In an earlier interview, Fox executives confirmed that fans will still be able to see Michael alive in the upcoming revival, TVLine reported.

"The brothers will be back. Some of the iconic characters from that show will be back," said Fox CEO Dana Walden

Walden also revealed that Michael's return from the dead will be a part of a major twist in "Prison Break" Season 5.

"What [Paul Scheuring] pitched to us was a very logical and believable - in the world of 'Prison Break' - explanation for why our characters are alive and still moving around the world," she said.
