Many fans are still excitedly awaiting news about "Steven Universe" Season 2 return date, as the show went on yet another painfully long hiatus in January 2016. Back then, fans and viewers were treated with new episodes for the entire week only to be distraught upon the news of the show's hiatus.

While CN has yet to announce the official return date of "Steven Universe" on TV, several leaked clips were released on the Internet. According to Movie Pilot, a recently released clip hinted on the possibility that Yellow Diamond will be finally coming to Earth.

In the said "Steven Universe" leaked clip for the episode "Barn Mates," Steven, Lapis Lazuli and Peridot are being chased by a probe. Lapis immediately comes to the rescue and destroys the probe. The publication noted, however, that the probe has been seemingly sent by Yellow Diamond herself in order to kill Peridot for her defiance.

Of course it is only expected that Yellow Diamond will be making an appearance in "Steven Universe" given her connection with Peridot, but will she be the one to try to destroy Peridot or will she send her forces to Earth?

Meanwhile, IBT reported on another "Steven Universe" Season 2 clip, which showed a battle between Malachite and Alexandrite.

According to the publication, this battle between Malachite and Alexandrite may provide answers as to how Lapis Lazuli was able to un-fuse herself from Jasper.
