"Outlander" stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe recently shared some exciting details about the upcoming season of the Starz time traveler series. Season 2 is based on Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber," which will see Jamie and Claire travel to France to stop the Jacobite Rising.

As changes are expected in translating a book into the small screens, Heughan recently hinted on a possible change in "Outlander" Season 2, Enstarz reported.

The publication noted that in Gabaldon's book, Jamie will cut his hair in preparation for his duel with Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). However, this may not happen in "Outlander" Season 2.

"Yes, I would love to cut my hair," he said. "I think it's an integral part of Jamie. It would have been nice to play it in the show, maybe; somehow, somewhere."

Aside from Black Jack's return in "Outlander" Season 2, another character from Season 1 is set to return - Frank Randall.

Balfe said in an interview with TVGuide.com that Claire no longer feels the same for her first love after traveling through time and meeting Jamie.

"[Now] the tragedy of that relationship - which I think is so great to watch - is Frank really loves her," she said. "People bash on Frank but you know, the poor guy, he got this woman back who he loves and she's pregnant with another man's child and she tells him that she'll never love him again."

"Outlander" Season 2 premieres on Apr. 9 on Starz.
