‘Steven Universe’ Season 2 Spoilers & Updates: Peridot Sacrifices Herself to Save Steven and the Crystal Gems?

"Steven Universe" Season 2 return date is still unknown, as Cartoon Network still has not announced the show's return on TV after the series suddenly went into a hiatus in January.

As previously reported here on Parent Herald, fans are eagerly awaiting news and updates about "Steven Universe" Season 2. Many were expecting that the series will return sometime in March or April given that the show previously went into a three- or four-month break in between.

Leaked clips of the upcoming episode of "Steven Universe" Season 2 entitled, "Barn Mates" also made rounds on the Internet. The latest one showed Peridot running from what seems to be Yellow Diamond's "roaming eye."

In the said "Steven Universe" leaked clip, Peridot starts running towards Steven and Lapis Lazuli, as she warns them about the eye. Before Steven could do anything to protect his friends, Lapis uses her magic to destroy the eye.

However, many fans believed that this roaming eye is just the beginning of it all. As "Steven Universe" Season 2 features more episodes, fans are expecting to see Yellow Diamond do whatever it takes to destroy Peridot, Christian Today reported.

The publication further noted that it is only a matter of time before Yellow Diamond makes an appearance on Earth herself and she is definitely stronger than any of them.
