Johnny Depp Makes Fun Of Australian Dog Smuggling Apology Video With Amber Heard

It looks like Johnny Depp is not so happy about having to apologize for his Australian dog drama with "Aquaman" star Amber Heard last year. The "Alice Through The Looking Glass" star has just made fun of his awkward apology video during a press conference for his new movie last Sunday.

Johnny Depp was attending the "Alice Through The Looking Glass" press conference in England (via BBC) when the actor suddenly called for attention. "I am going to do this everywhere I go," he declared. After a dramatic pause, Johnny Depp said, "I would really like to apologize for not smuggling my dog into England because it would have been a bad thing to do."

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor also called the Australians "chipper" before being interrupted by the host, joking that Johnny Depp brought his dogs backstage. "Alice Through The Looking Glass" producer Tim Burton quickly joined in on the joke.

"I forgot to tell you. They're dead. I just sat on them upstairs by accident," Tim Burton told Johnny Depp, who didn't seem too worried about the dogs at all. "I tried to kill them after Australia," he quipped.

The Australian Dog Smuggling Drama

Johnny Depp's Australian dog drama (via US Weekly) began last April 2015 when "Aquaman" star Amber Heard brought her Yorkshire Terriers named Pistol and Boo into Australia. The "Aquaman" actress had decided to bring the two dogs in to visit Johnny Depp while he is filming the new "Pirates of the Caribbean" film.

However, Johnny Depp ended up going against Australia's biosecurity laws. Amber Heard of "Aquaman" was charged with two counts of illegal canine importation, as well as one count of producing false documents.

Although the charges against "Aquaman" star Amber Heard were dropped, she and Johnny Depp were required to record themselves talking about the importance of adhering to the Australian biosecurity laws. The video was aired during the couple's court appearance in Australia.

Johnny Depp's latest film, "Alice Through The Looking Glass," will premiere on May 27, 2016. Stay tuned to Parent Herald for more updates!
