'Skullgirls' Mobile Version 2016 Features New Role-Playing Elements

The game, which has been available on most modern gaming platform, has since been re-engineered to give smartphone users every thrill-seeking opportunity to play "Skullgirls" on their mobile device. Other than Hidden Variable's take on bringing "Skullgirls" on a more handy level, the studio also revealed adding role playing features. Players can now collect, arm or even upgrade their characters while coursing through the game's story, according to an Engadget post.

What's further interesting with "Skullgirls" being on mobile is that of a Fight Assist option. This allows players to engage in either a two pre-determined assist with another character or use custom assist. Either way lets players bring in more action with the use of different characters in one gaming environment.

'Skullgirls' Beta Version

The studio has been mum about the final stylized title for "Skullgirls" on mobile. However, fans are invited to test the beta version of the game.

Highly recommended to play "Skullgirls" on a recent version of Android OS, say Marshmallow and up. The "Skullgirls" game on mobile apparently would need more phone space to allow uninterrupted playability. And with its popularity and good feedback from game fans, there's speculation on the whether or not the game won't be needing too many app purchases to run smoothly as well.

The "Skullgirls" on mobile idea was announced by Hidden Variable during the 2016 Anime Expo in Los Angeles, in a related Touch Arcade post. While the studio is gearing for the release of "Skullgirls" this year, it was also their plan to create better teams while sending them off against their opponents.

As "Skullgirls" is famously known for its 2D, anime-inspired animation and artwork, fans are expecting its more hyped version on mobile. Who knows? Hidden Variable could be releasing more details on the game real soon.
