Nintendo NX Latest News & Specs; How Nvidia Tegra's Processor Would Amp The NX With The Daisy Chain Patent

The idea of getting a hybrid console such as the Nintendo NX is pretty impressive. Plus, being able to share accessibility down to other home media components is a huge compliment.

Many sources have described and expanded how the Nintendo NX is expected to look like, according to a recent Nintendo Life post. The Nintendo NX handheld that is being put out there for everyone to scrutinized is being shown as a transformer console. Also, the added thought of the Nintendo NX being powered by an Nvidia chipset instead of AMD's, as well as 32GB-sized cartridge carts to fit takes the curiosity to another level.

Appealing as it sounds, Redittor cbfw86 had renewed the interest of forum users reintroducing the Daisy Chain patent that Nintendo could be applying for the Nintendo NX. As recalled, the Daisy Chain patent would allow two devices to synch together and have their processing power heightened to produce powerful results.

"I think it's likely, and to be honest, the through excites me. I can now play my console games on holiday without a TV. I can play Fire Emblem on a TV. I can play a fully fledged Mario game on the go. I really, really, really hope this is what it is, and that it takes off," cbfw86 added on the Nintendo NX.

The Nintendo NX acting as a dock and gaming console is close to how the DCP is defined, and the Nvidia technology integrated into the Nintendo NX would make the entire combination work out really well especially for gaming fans. The theory also doesn't come without complications, but with an Nvidia Tegra X1 processor in placed - it is possible.

Also, remember the patent filed by Nintendo in 2015? Let's review the abstract for said patent in a nutshell, shall we? It said that the gaming console (with strong emphasis on Nintendo NX), when connected to a supplemental computing device through a wired connection, would be able to also store gaming data.

The Nintendo patent further stated: "In addition, however, the game console may couple to a supplemental computing device that includes resources that the game console may also utilize to increase the speed or quality of a user's gaming experience". Everyone hopes the Nintendo NX comes out like this, and that Nintendo needs to supply all the detailed information really soon.
