‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Release Date, News & Updates: Creators Finally Confirm Exact Release; More Spoilers Given At Comic-Con

Great news for "Rick and Morty" fans! The long-awaited Rick together with Morty will come back before the year ends. The Dark sci-fi series that is blended with humor and sullen adventures has now been entertaining viewers for two season already and will now be followed by "Rick and Morty" Season 3.

Dan Harmon Announces The Upcoming 'Rick and Morty' Season 3

During the recent Comic-Con at San Diego, Dan Harmon answered most of the questions why "Rick and Morty Season 3 took more time than the previous first and second seasons. The Adult Swim creator admitted to the difficulties in creating the third season.

"It's been harder this season," Dan Harmon said. "I watched the thumbnail animatic of Episode 304 and I was ready to move forward with it and Ryan [Ridley] said 'we're not satisfied with it and we were already behind schedule."

According to Cinema Blend, the animators constantly try to make the show even better which leads to even more delays. Since the entire team of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 wanted nothing but perfection, fans are expected to see a very great season. Although "Rick and Morty" Season 3 took a bit longer than expected, Dan Harmon feels glad that his team takes "Rick and Morty" seriously.

Release Date for 'Rick and Morty' Season 3

When Dan Harmon was asked about the exact release date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, the creator still did not reveal when it will be released exactly but specifically mentioned that the show will be coming by the end of the year. "I think Season 3 is - we're targeting around the end of this year," Harmon said.
