‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ Latest News & Updates: Studio Wildcard Launches PC V245.0 Patch, ‘ARK: Survival Of The Fittest’ PC V177.0 Update

Following the recent announcement of Studio Wildcard regarding their plans of launching monthly updates in "ARK: Survival Evolved," a massive update has reportedly arrived in the PC version of the game. Based on the reports, the PC v245.0 patch has brought new dinos, an activity, crafting items and the release of the Primitive+ mod.

Before delving deeper into the latest "ARK: Survival Evolved" update, Studio Wildcard's dino-themed open world survival game was reportedly free on Steam over the weekend. According to PC Gamer, the free deal started on Thursday, Jul. 28 until Sunday, Jul. 31 while the 50 percent off discount for Steam gamers will last until Wednesday, Aug. 3.

"From Thursday through Sunday, July 28-31, 2016, ARK: Survival Evolved is hosting a Free Weekend on Steam where all survivors can invite their friends to start to tame, train, breed and ride Dinosaurs in this open-world action-adventure survival game," the announcement read, as per LazyGamer.net. "ARK: Survival Evolved also is on sale for Steam players at 50% off (retail $29.99) from Thursday through Wednesday, July 28 - August 3, 2016."

"ARK: Survival Evolved" PC v245.0 patch has brought two new dinosaurs into the game - Allosaurus and Pelagornis. Smaller but than a Tyrannosaurus, the Allosaurus is a resident pack-hunting therapod while the Pelagornis is the Island's most versatile mounts that has the ability to fly, walk and surface-swim. Aside from the new creatures, "ARK: Survival Evolved" PC v245.0 patch also brought a new activity, which is the ability to fish, VG24/7 revealed. 'ARK: Survival Evolved' PC V245.0 Patch Releases The Free 'Primitive+' DLC

"ARK: Survival Evolved" PC v245.0 patch also released the free DLC in the "ARK Official Mods Program" called, "Primitive+." Created by Cedric Burkes, the "Primitive+" DLC will be available on all official "ARK" maps and will challenge gamers by changing the available tools, structures and weapons into primitive technology and resources, Flickering Myth learned. In other "ARK: Survival Evolved"-related news, a new "ARK: Survival of the Fittest" (Sotf) update has been released for the PC platforms. The latest update came after the game has been delayed on PS4.
