Nina Dobrev Confirms Return On 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8; Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Stop "TVD" Producer From Nina's Return [VIDEO]

Fans of Nina Dobrev are totally not happy with Ian Somerhalder and his unsettling behavior in the recent interview the cast of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 had. It seems very clear who totally runs the show and who really is stopping Nina Dobrev in returning from "TVD."

When asked about the possible return of old casts, Ian Somerhalder immediately said, "No! You're not gonna get them! Sorry, bud. Zero." Apparently, Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are having some marital problems and the return of Nina Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 may cost more rift between the two.

However, the actions made by Ian Somerhalder during the interview of the cast show his high ego and his control over his cast. Paul Wesley who was sitting beside showrunner Julie Plec kept silent and uncomfortable as Ian kept insisting that there was no need for the old cast especially for Nina Dobrev to come back.

Nina Dobrev quit "The Vampire Diaries" after her failed relationship with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. After that, Ian secretly dated Nikki Reed and then married her last year. But before Nina quit the show, she made a promise that she will come back for the last season of "TVD."

Julie Plec holds to that friendship promise Nina made and insisted that a promise was made and that she is holding on to that promise. Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, insisted that Julie and he already had a conversation about the return of old casts, which mostly deals with Nina Dobrev's return.

"I'm sorry, I thought we already had a conversation about this," Ian said. "Apparently not.

When asked the chances of Nina Dobrev's return, Ian sarcastically answered that there is just 18.75% that Nina would return with just Julie laughed like half ignoring what Ian Somerhalder said while the whole cast kept silent.

A little bit disappointing on how Ian Somerhalder who was supposed to bring a great ending to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is now the clear reason why Nina Dobrev is keeping silent on her return to "TVD."

However, it is good to note that it is not up to Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed on whether Nina Dobrev would come back. It is up to Julie Plec and apparently she really wants Nina back.

Ian Somerhalder's may get away with his diva attitude for now. Fans will just have to wait and see on whether Nina Dobrev will take on the challenge and get back on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. And if that happens it would be one great ending to "TVS" and possibly to Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder's relationship.
