PlayStation Plus Free Games for September 2016: 'LEGO Batman 3', 'Watch Dogs' Makes the Cut?

This early, the internet is abuzz with predictions for the PlayStation Plus free games for September 2016. While fans are still currently enjoying the free games released this month, players are still excited to know what titles will make it on the list next month.

There have been rumors that an AAA title could make it to the PlayStation Plus free games list for September 2016. Although still unverified, sources are starting to claim that "Watch Dogs" might be available for free for PS Plus subscribers.

VineReport speculated that "Watch Dogs" might make it to the list given that its sequel's, "Watch Dogs 2," release date has already been set on November 15, 2016. The site argued that putting the first installment on the Playstation Plus free games list for September 2016 could be a good strategy to generate more hype for the new title.

Meanwhile, Chattsportsnett speculated that two other titles could make it to the list. The site suggested that "Diver: San Francisco" might make the cut, as well as "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" in line with "The LEGO Batman Movie" upcoming release. The speculated titles were released in 2011 and 2014 respectively.

Some fans are definitely looking forward to a nicer Playstation Plus free games list in September. Previous reports noted that some subscribers were left disappointed when Sony released an unimpressive list for August 2016.

As PlayStation Blog reported, the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2016 include "Tricky Towers" (PS4), "Rebel Galaxy" (PS4), "Yakuza 5" (PS3), "Retro/Grade" (PS3), "Patapon 3" (PS Vita) and "Ultratron" (PS Vita, PS3, PS4).
