At the time, most NBA fans are occupied with NBA trade rumors but aside from this, the upcoming season promises more talented rookies. NBA rumors suggest that Ben Simmons and Kris Dunn will have the biggest impact in the upcoming season.

Per Yibada, Philadelphia 76ers will have the most number of fresh players in the upcoming NBA season. Their roster will include Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Ben Simmons. However, among the aforementioned names, Simmons has the most hype since he was the top overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Another rookie is also building hype in the upcoming season, and he is no other than the Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Kris Dunn. Dunn is the fifth overall pick. However, per the Basketball Insider's list, Dunn and Ben Simmons top the rookies list.

Since Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid have the most hype this NBA season, Fansided took the time to compare the two players. This is despite their different experiences in the basketball court.

Ben Simmons has a great ability to get to the rim, has incredible vision and impressive passing ability. However, he is poor when it comes to shooting. In fact, his career has very little to show when it comes to jump shot. Ben Simmons rarely takes any mid-range shots and only took one 3-pointer all year. But despite this, many NBA enthusiasts remain hopeful that the player has a bright future in the NBA league.

Meanwhile, Joel Embiid has been in the NBA league for two years already. He was projected to be the first overall draft pick, but due to his injury, the Cleveland Cavaliers did not pursue him. His two years experience in the NBA league equipped Embiid with enough knowledge and information. Similar to Ben Simmons, he has solid skills set and great passing ability.

Fansided concluded that in a controlled experiment, Joel Embiid will have a better career but Ben Simmons will have a bigger career. It is still difficult to tell, who is better in the given conclusion. Unfortunately, Brandon Ingram didn't make it on the list.

Brandon Ingram, the current power forward of the Los Angeles Lakers is currently linked to NBA trade rumors. Parent Herald previously reported that Lakers is trading him for Philadelphia 76ers Nerlens Noel.
