NBA Trade News: Milwaukee Bucks Sign Veteran Free Agent Jason Terry

With the 2016-2017 about to begin this October, one of the NBA's younger teams, the Milwaukee Bucks, look to add some veteran leadership into their youthful roster with the acquisition of former NBA Sixth Man of the Year and NBA Champion, Jason Terry.

 With the core lineup of the Milwaukee Bucks consisting of all-around player Giannis Antetokounmpo, star center Greg Monroe, and rising point guard Michael Carter-Williams, the Bucks have become one of the teams with the most potential (and height) around the league, and with the recent signing of prospect rookie Thon Maker and feisty point guard Matthew Dellavedova, the Milwaukee club has plenty of young talent without the proper polish.

Milwaukee Bucks general manager says that the organization is thrilled to welcome Terry, as his years in the league will help shape the young bucks into a championship caliber team, according to a statement from NBA.com

With the signing of Jason Terry out of free agency, the Bucks look to the 38-year-old veteran to be a voice of wisdom for the club, which is in the early stages of development. Terry, who ranks 3rd in all time three point shots made, will be essential to the team's growth and maturity. Bucks' head coach Jason Kidd says of his former Mavericks teammate, "Jason will bring veteran leadership and shooting," adding that Terry is a true professional on and off the court, according to Journal Sentinel.

With the stacked back court roster of the Milwaukee Bucks, Jason Terry will most likely come off of the bench as part of their second unit, providing extra spacing for the Bucks with his excellent shooting beyond the arc, a department in which the Milwaukee team has been inconsistent at.

The Milwaukee Bucks will begin their 2016-2017 season against the Charlotte Hornets on October 26, 2016.
