MacBook Pro 2016 News: MacOS Sierra Code Confirms Touchscreen And USB 3.1 Features In The New MacBook Pro Flagship

Apple fans and customers have been waiting for MacBook Pro 2016 for a couple of months already. The anticipated laptop failed to make it in the recent events that the Cupertino-based tech giant hosted. However, reports are rife that MacBook Pro is coming at the end of the year and the leaked macOS Sierra Code confirms that the new flagship laptop will arrive with touchscreen and USB 3.1 connectivity.

Earlier reports claimed that MacBook Pro 2016 will arrive with OLED display touchscreen above the keyboard and a USB-C Port. Unfortunately, some sources claim that the OLED bar is impossible.

In fact, the Next Web reported that MacBook Pro might fall short to what customers have been expecting. The report notes that a number of people who are familiar with Apple's plans just laughed about the OLED bar feature. They stressed that the alleged feature is definitely not included in MacBook Pro 2016.

However, 9TO5Mac reported that there is indeed a small touchscreen strip placed in the usual top function key row of MacBook Pro 2016's keyboard. This feature is backed up by the macOS Sierra code.

Aside from the OLED screen display, MacBook Pro is expected to arrive with a new hardware and Touch ID support. The new touchscreen display of MacBook Pro 2016 will not just provide contextually sensitive buttons that are definitely a huge improvement from old function keys. It is also useful for the laptop's new features like the Touch ID and third-party app integration.

Too much for the touchscreen feature, MacBook Pro 2016 is also confirmed to arrive with the ultra-fast second-gen USB 3.1. There are also rumors that with this development, MacBook Pro is likely to arrive with Thunderbolt 3.

Overall, MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be fast, light and ultra-thin. With all of its specs and features, the new MacBook Pro is undoubtedly the new Apple flagship.
