"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will be more of a blast from the past from Season 1. But while the whole cast is setting the tone for more farewell episodes, fans are asking on whether they will also see Delena moments during "TVD."

After Nina Dobrev left the show during "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, things didn't go well for the series. Season 7 see became more of a challenge with fans missing Nina Dobrev, others were disappointed while half were mostly getting acquainted with the story again.

Now that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is closing the eight years production of "TVD" some fans are hoping for a good ending with Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder being back as Delena. However, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed do not want Nina Dobrev's return.

During their Comic-Con interview, Ian Somerhalder was strong against Nina Dobrev's return although showrunner Julie Plec wanted Dobrev bach. Sources confirmed however that Nina Dobrev will return to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

Fans may be able to see Nina Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 but not as Elena. News that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are having problems with Dobrev's return in "TVD." According to reports, if Damon and Elena pair up again, Nikki Reed will call it quits.

According to Parent Herald, Nina Dobrev will return not as Elena but as Katherine Pierce so that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will not need to pair up. Reports that Nikki Reed is still jealous of Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder does not want Dobrev anywhere near "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

For the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 episode 1, the cast will bring us back to where "TVD started. The first episode will be titled "Hello, Brother" which was a catch phrase from when Damon came back from Mystic Falls, according to Melty.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 episode 2 will be titled "Today Will Be Different" which was the line Elena wrote in her diary following the death of her parent. Episode 3 will be titled "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving" which was a phrase from the Season 1 finale.

With the production getting well for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 and Nina Dobrev gracing the show of "TVD" once again, it is inevitable that fans are getting the hype. What do you think of Nina Dobrev's return?
