'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Release Date, News Update: Tom Mison, Janina Gavankar Chemistry Speaks Volumes On Ichabod Crane, Diana Plot In S4?

The "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere will introduce the new team up of Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Diana Thomas (Janina Gavankar) from Fox. If the "Sleepy Hollow" tease by Janina Gavankar at the 2016 Dragon Con in Atlanta is indication, Season 4 will have a chemistry build up between Ichabod Crane and Diana Thomas.

To be sure, such a move by Fox on the "Sleepy Hollow" reboot will be unpopular among Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) fans, especially after three seasons of will-they-won't-they with Ichabod Crane. However, the fact that "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 is happening at all after Nicole Beharie opted to exit Abbie Mills after Season 3 was a highly unpopular decision among fans anyway.

The idea that Fox now pushes for "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 is to put Ichabod Crane with a new team and in a whole setting at Washington D.C., hence the unofficial reboot label. Ichabod Crane and Diana Thomas will meet for the first time at the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere when Tom Mison's character is introduced to a classified Secret Service team in The Basement.

Ichabod Crane and Diana Thomas will develop their partnership even while their rag-tag force immediately comes under attack from a familiar enemy in the "Sleepy Hollow" S4 premiere. TVLine cites Fox entertainment president David Madden in promising that "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will bring fun episodes and great stories for Ichabod Crane and Diana Thomas.

A Walton Tribune report on road block schedules indicated that Tom Mison and Janina Gavankar are currently busy with production work for "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. "Sleepy Hollow" fans will certainly, and carefully, observe if Tom Mison and Janina Gavankar can convincingly sell their tandem as Ichabod Crane and Diana Thomas in Season 4.
