NBA Trade Rumors: LA Lakers Trading Jordan Clarkson And Julius Randle For Chicago Bull's Jimmy Butler?

Los Angeles Lakers are desperate to upgrade their roster for the upcoming NBA season. The team has a huge void to fill after losing Kobe Bryant to retirement. According to reports, Lakers is eyeing Chicago Bulls' Jimmy Butler that they are willing to trade Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson.

According to Sports Rageous, D'Angelo Russell is a rising star and Los Angeles Lakers is planning to partner him with Jordan Clarkson. Either of the two could be Lakers' main point guard. However, it seems that things have changed.

Per Gil Alcaraz of Hoops Habit, LA Lakers are targeting big names in the NBA league and one of their targets is the Chicago Bull's shooting guard Jimmy Butler. Per the report, if Lakers are unwilling to part ways with D'Angelo Russell for Butler, Jordan Clarkson would be a good option to pursue the trade.

Alcaraz notes that acquiring Jimmy Butler would bring excitement for Los Angeles Lakers. Butler is an elite scorer, he has a great potential but Bulls doesn't recognize him as the face of their franchise.

The report suggests that LA Lakers trade for Jimmy Butler by sending Jordan Clarkson and their future draft pick to Chicago Bulls. Butler could be the new face of the Lakers.

Meanwhile, ReaL GM suggests that LA Lakers pursue the trade by sending Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle for Jimmy Butler. Will this be enough to satisfy Bulls, given that Butler is one of their key players?

On a separate note, Jordan Clarkson has been linked to Philadelphia 76ers. Parent Herald previously reported that Lakers is also trading him to Philadelphia 76ers for Jahlil Okafor, leaving D'Angelo Russell as the team's new lead guard.

On a separate report, Jimmy Butler was linked to Sacramento Kings. Reports have it that Kings are trading DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy gay to Chicago Bulls for Butler.

What do you think are there possibilities that LA Lakers could convince Chicago Bulls to trade Jimmy Butler to them? If the trade works for Lakers, will this benefit Bulls too? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
