'Madam Secretary' Season 3 Rumors, Spoilers, News & Update: Elizabeth’s Political Enemies Are Coming After Her Family?

The second episode of "Madam Secretary" Season 3 is expected to see Elizabeth Mccord (Tea Leoni) deals with  a threat to her family while she negotiates with Algeria to prevent a civil war. "Madam Secretary" Season 3 second episode is also suggested to see guest star Michael Boatman as FBI Director Keith Doherty.

Boatman is set to appear as the FBI Director who will be helping Henry (Tim Daly) and Elizabeth to solve the case of Jason's hacked computer. It can be recalled that the premiere episode of "Madam Secretary" Season 3 saw someone stole Jason's computer after it was initially hacked. Henry and Elizabeth then discovered a bag with photos of their children inside, Parent Herald reported.

It appears that Elizabeth's political enemies are after her family on the next episode of "Madam Secretary" Season 3. The promo showed Elizabeth receiving a note where it stated, "We can get to your family anytime." Is Elizabeth's family in danger? Who is behind all these?

Meanwhile, Elizabeth will have to deal with Algeria on the second episode "Madam Secretary" Season 3. Reports claimed that she will have to delicately negotiate a change of regime with Algeria in order to prevent an impending civil war. Additionally, U.S. Ambassador to Algeria Roy Curtis (Dakin Matthews) will apparently die on the next episode of "Madam Secretary" which will make things not so easy for Elizabeth, Broadway World reported. It remains to be seen how Elizabeth could solve her political duties while fixing her family's security problems at the same time on "Madam Secretary" Season 3.

"Madam Secretary" Season 3 premiere episode also saw President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) losing the election nomination. This led Chief of Staff Russell Jackson (Željko Ivanek) to blame Elizabeth for asking the President to change his views on climate change. Russell believes that the President's sudden change of position caused him to lose the election. That said, he is making his own plans and no longer wants to support Elizabeth as the running Vice President on "Madam Secretary" Season 3.

"Madam Secretary" Season 3 Episode 2 will return on Oct. 16. The episode is titled "The Linchpin."
