Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck Split: Mom Keeps Busy at Children's Hospital Even With Divorce Rumors Swirling

The rumors about Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's failing marriage keep coming, but despite this, it looks like the actress would like to put more focus on work than anything else.

Recently, Jennifer, 43, was seen at the Boston Children's Hospital to meet with Dr. Samuel Nurko, who heads the Center for Motility and Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders. The actress was said to be doing research for the film "Miracles from Heaven," according to People Magazine.

Her visit comes on the week when she's supposed to be celebrating her 10th wedding anniversary with Ben, whom she married on June 27, 2005. But the actress used this time for work instead.

Later, the hospital thanked Jennifer on Twitter for her visit. Along with her photo with Nurko, the message read, "A BIG thank you to Jennifer Garner for stopping by to meet with Dr. Nurko to do research for an upcoming movie role!"

She was all smiles as she posed and clutched a hospital stuffed toy. There was hardly a trace of stress on her face.

Jennifer's upcoming movie is about a young girl who has a rare digestive disorder, but eventually gets a miracle cure following an accident. The film is based on a book written by Christy Beam and pre-production is just starting.

Earlier, news that moving trucks were seen outside the couple's house twice in a week fueled more rumors that Jennifer and Ben's marriage is indeed over, as reported by Radar Online. But sources close to the couple say that they are only doing some renovations in the house and are not splitting belongings for the divorce.

Hollywood Life, meanwhile, said that the couple has been doing their best to save their marriage for the sake of the kids. "There is trouble in their relationship, the rumors are out there because they are soaked in truth but the rumors that are not out there is that they want to save the marriage for the kids," the source revealed.

Last Father's Day, Jennifer was spotted by herself, but observers note that she still had her wedding ring on, according to Daily Mail. It wasn't clear whether Jennifer was coming in or leaving the airport or whether the family did celebrate Father's Day with Ben.

But the Hollywood Life source said, "When certain holidays and birthdays come about they think about their relationship with more urgency, and with Father's Day right around the corner, Jen sees the man that Ben is, the father that he has become and that outweighs the nonsense. They are not out of the woods yet but they are definitely trying hard to mend fences."
