'Narcos' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers & News: Cast Shake-up As 4 New Stars Join Pedro Pascal - Get The Details!

"Narcos" is getting a huge cast shake-up in Season 3. Four actors have been added to the ensemble that already includes original cast member Pedro Pascal, who plays DEA agent Javier Pena.

The new cast additions follow as Netflix has made it clear that "Narcos" isn't over, but it will instead shift the stories about the drug trade to the Cali Cartel from Pablo Escobar. So, who are the new character on "Narcos" Season 3?

The Hollywood Reporter cites that "Narcos" Season 3 will have Michael Stahl-David and Matt Whelan as the new DEA agents, playing Chris Feistl and Daniel Van Ness respectively. They are young but they are serious about taking down the drug cartel in Colombia after the death of Pablo Escobar.

It is expected that the new DEA agents will be working with Javier Pena in third season of "Narcos" as he has experience and knowledge of how the Colombia drug trade runs. In the real world, Pena was no longer part of the operations against the Cali Cartel, but fans will surely welcome Pascal reprising his role for "Narcos" Season 3.

Also joining "Narcos" Season 3 are Arturo Castro and Kerry Bishé, Deadline reports. Castro will play William, the oldest son of Cali Cartel's Miguel Rodriguez, who will have to lead the family business. Bishé will play an American named Christina, whose Columbian husband becomes involved in drugs, which could threaten her family's safety in the South American country.

It is still unclear whether "Narcos" original cast member, Boyd Holbrook, would return for the third season. As Parent Herald previously reported, the actor has booked other projects whose filming schedule might come in conflict with the Netflix show's schedule.

"Narcos" Season 3 is expected to launch in 2017. Netflix has confirmed that "Narcos" will also return for a fourth season, which should follow the year after. Stay tuned for more updates about the series on this site.
