All You Need To Know About Microsoft’s Event At New York; Windows 10 Updates Unveiled Along With Launch Of New Products

Microsoft is hosting a major event to unveil its new products at the Spring Studios in New York on October 26. With creativity being the major focus of the Microsoft event, there are several new updates to the Windows being released along with the launch of new products such as Surface Studio.

According to reports by Resource Online, the "Windows 10 Creator Update" is being rolled out by Microsoft which will enable all the users to create, share and experience 3D. A 3D program will be incorporated into the software update that will allow the users to intuitively create 3D images and also bring 2D images to 3D projects using a tool called Sticker Tool. Microsoft added that the use of this feature would be as simple as taking a picture or a video.

Interestingly, another addition to the Microsoft Windows update is gaming and eSports. Representatives from Xbox guided the users through a platform called Beam which allows the users to watch and interact with other people's gameplay. Custom tournaments can also be set up by the user using the software Arena. Another significant feature that was added to the Microsoft Windows is that of dragging and dropping content into messages such as Skype, SMS for Windows and Android phones and mail.

Microsoft's  Surface Book i7 was revealed with a brand-new edition that blesses users with a battery life increase of over 30 percent and two times more Graphics. It has also been upgraded to include an Intel core i7 processor, reported CIO. The pre-orders will cost $2,399 and will be shipped in November, Microsoft announced.

The highlight of the Microsoft event was the release of Surface Studio, the newest member of the Surface family. It is a sleek aluminum, all-in-one desktop computer. It boasts of a large 28-inch display with 13.5 million pixels. This is noted to be 63 percent more pixels than one would find on a 4k TV. The Microsoft Surface Studio is available for $2999 and can be pre-ordered. Microsoft added that the device would only be available on pre-order since there is a limited stock.
