'Pokemon Go' Latest News: Halloween Update Would Give You More Candies While Walking With Buddy, Increased Spawn Rates For Specific Monsters

If you have not been playing your "Pokemon Go" for a time now this would be the best time to pick up from where you left off as the game has been updated with Halloween-related updates. A few changes include the ghost and psychic types of "Pokemon Go" monsters as well as being able to get more candies via the Buddy system update.

Mirror reported that the Halloween update for "Pokemon Go" will let you get four times more the normal amount of candy that you get when you walk with a Buddy. The Buddy system lets players choose a monster of their own to walk with so that the character will get candies just by walking on "Pokemon Go." Since the Halloween update for the game, more players have been playing "Pokemon Go" once again to take advantage of the benefits of the new updates.

Players will get double the candies that they had form in an in-game action such as catching, transferring, and hatching eggs. If players of "Pokemon Go" will be transferring the monsters to the professor, they get two candies. If players will be catching a Pokemon, they will get six candies in return. As for the buddy system of "Pokemon Go," all the hard work from walking will be rewarded with four times the normal amount of candy a player gets.

A tip for the buddy system to get more candies at a shorter time of walking is that a player should choose a rarer Pokemon. This way, the player will get more candies and make the evolution easier in "Pokemon Go."

For the increased spawn rate of some monsters in "Pokemon Go" due to the Halloween update, these monsters include Drowzee, Ghastly, Haunter, and Zubat. Basically, the psychic or ghost type monsters in "Pokemon Go" have an increased spawn rate but only for a limited time as per Niantic creators. The Halloween update of "Pokemon Go" will run through November 1, Venture Beat reported.

Meowth and Marowak are also part of the "Pokemon Go" monsters which spawn rate have been increased. Muk and Ekans could probably be caught easier due to the Halloween update of "Pokemon Go."

The other monsters in "Pokemon Go" having increased spawn rate are Kadabra, Alakazam, Shellder, Cloyster, Cubone, Golbat, Magikarp, Gyarados, Tentacool, and Slowbro.

It is possible that "Pokemon Go" players will see updates during special occasions and events such as Christmas in the future.
