Nintendo Switch News & Upgrade: The 720p Multi-touch Screen, Everything To Know About The New Nintedo Console

Nintendo releases its switch trailer last week that unveils the device and its hybrid nature. It is a tablet like portable console, which can be inserted into a docking station and can be connected to a television to use as a home console.  

Reggie Fils-Aime Nintendo of America's President said that the console's appeal as a device that would provide gamers the option to play at home or on the go and noted that it would enable developers to create new types of games.  

The main unit of console is the "Switch Console" it is a battery powered tablet like monitor which has an LCD screen with a 3.5 mm audio jack and has a kickstand. It can be placed into a docking station that is connected to a power supply and to television when it needs to be charged or to transfer the output onto it. It has a controller system called Joy Con.  

The system has two controllers the Left and the Right. And for the first time in any Nintendo device that boasts the capacitive multi-touch screen, it has a 6.2" in size 720p. Both 3Ds and Wii U featured resistive touch screens and can be reliable when it comes to pressure and much less precise and single touch is also available.  

Business Insider reported that Nintendo's best asset is not about its hardware or any processing power but the Nintendo games itself. People were attracted to its different games and uniqueness of its Switch that makes it easier and enjoyable to the gamers. 

Even though it was not yet revealed, the Switch added a lot of accessories that will surely enhance the system but Nintendo did not provide a list of games yet. The company wanted to surprise and to let the people experience the improvement in the software. 

According to Eurogamer, A Nintendo Switch media briefing will be held on January 13 where more feature about its system will be announced as well as the exact release date and software launch line up.
