'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Premiere: New Characters Added, Crane Gets A New Partner

"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will be back this coming January 2017. Fans are clearly anticipating the return of the supernatural series, wondering how different the series will be without former star Agent Abbie Mills, played by Nicole Beharie.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will be like a reboot of the series, with main protagonist Ichabod Crane moving to Washington D.C., as reported by Screen Crush. It will be a different series with the absence of the on-screen chemistry between actors Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie. 

In the "Sleepy Hollow" finale last season, Agent Mills (Beharie) sacrificed herself so that the Hidden One's power will be once again inside Pandora's Box. Now that Agent Mills is gone, Ichabod Crane will have a new partner in the form of Diana (Janina Gavankar). 

She is a single mother with a preteen daughter, and she works for Homeland Security. According to Christian Today, Diana has recently lost her partner too, much like Crane lost his. But that doesn't mean that they will get on with each other right away in "Sleepy Hollow" season 4.

Diana seems to not believe in the supernatural world, and the fact that she will be partnering with someone from more than 200 years ago will be new for her. Abbie's sister Jenny will also be back for "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, and she and Crane will somehow bond over their grief in Abbie's death that happened in  the "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 finale.

Ichabod Crane will have to look for the new Witness in "Sleepy Hollow" season 4. Before Abbie passed on, she assured Crane that there will always be witnesses. Could Abbie's sister Jenny be the Witness? Or will a new character be introduced in "Sleepy Hollow" season 4?

In the past seasons of "Sleepy Hollow", Crane and Agent Mills battled two antagonists, in the form of Moloch and Pandora. They are said to be the first and second tribulation, which means that five more tribulations are coming to the "Sleepy Hollow" world.
