Bobbi Kristina Brown Death Update: Remains Will Be Buried Next to Mom Whitney Houston; Nick Gordon Devastated, On Suicide Watch

It is a painful week for the Browns and Houstons as after almost half a year of struggling and hoping that Bobbi Kristina Brown will survive, the young celebrity eventually passed away last Sunday, July 26. Whitney Houston's daughter died just three years after her and in a manner almost similar to her, both were found unconscious in a bathtub. The mother and daughter will soon reunite as Bobbi Kristina's remains will be buried next to Whitney's, according to Us Weekly.

A source confirmed that after Brown's funeral in Atlanta, Ga., her body will be flown to New Jersey and will be buried next to her mom.

On the other hand, while Brown's family grieve for her passing, her longtime boyfriend whom her family suspects as guilty about Brown's incident, was also mourning. Nick Gordon was inconsolable for hours after learning that Brown was already dead. In fact, many feared that he might commit suicide.

A source told Hollywood Life, "Nick is on suicide watch. He is out of control with regret and sadness. He keeps saying that if only [Bobbi Kristina] had heard his voice, things would have been different. She may have lived"

Nick, who was recently served with a $10 million lawsuit by Bobbi Kristina's conservators, is definitely devastated with the tragic death of his lover. Although there were speculations that Nick was responsible for Brown's accident and that he was after Bobbi's fortune, a source says otherwise.

In a report from People, a source said that Gordon was very upset with the incident. "You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much and is devastated that she is gone," the source said.

Michelle Gordon, Nick's mother, issued a statement on what her son went through after his separation with Brown. "The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart," Michelle told People.

Michelle admitted that Nick and their entire family were mourning over Brown's death. She asked the public to respect their privacy. She also extended support to Bobbi Kristina's family. "Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time," Michelle said.

Nick was raised by Whitney like her own son. Nick and Kristina Bobbi started their romantic relationship in 2012 after Houston's death. The couple referred to each other as husband and wife, but they were never married. Their relationship did not get the approval of Brown's family and only caused a strained relationship between Brown and her relatives. With Brown's passing, Nick is facing several charges from Brown's conservators including domestic abuse and stealing of money, People reports.
