As previously speculated, there were bits of rumors that the new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" release would somehow be connected with the mobile game "Pokémon Go," which has been very popular among younger players. Well here's another story that might be the basis of that rumor.

First off, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game director Junichi Masuda mentioned in a report that the team would "want to have a kind of way to connect" "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and "Pokemon Go" "or have a way for people who enjoyed one to enjoy some of their progress in the other." Additionally, some people found hidden easter egg: a code in the new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" release which references the mobile game "Pokemon Go" directly.
